Alan Feuer, BCE
Technical and Leadership Consultant, Associate Certified Entomologist, Preventive Pest Control
Alan Feuer is staff entomologist and technical director of Preventive Pest Control, Albuquerque, N.M. He is directly responsible for the training and development of Preventive Pest Control’s staff, designing sensible and effective pest management plans, and consulting with clients to design specific pest control programs and processes.
After serving with the United States Marines, Feuer began his 25-year career in pest management. From his start leading a termite treatment crew at a family-owned pest control company, Feuer used a combination of passion, drive and dedication to start Alliance Pest Management. Feuer grew and developed the Alliance team from a three-person operation in 1996 to a final team of 14 in 2005. Blessed by a wonderful opportunity, Alliance Pest Management was sold to a national pest management company in late 2005.
Feuer became a certified entomologist in 2008 and honed his skills at Carter Services as the staff entomologist and technical director in charge of quality assurance. He continues to apply this same passion and drive as certified staff entomologist with Preventive Pest since 2011. Feuer is a certified/approved instructor for the New Mexico Department of Agriculture and New Mexico Real Estate Commission as well as for both the New Mexico and National Pest Management Associations. Alan currently serves as a corresponding member of the Wood Destroying Organism Committee of the National Pest Management Association.
