Pete Schopen is a 2nd generation pest pro.  He started 37 years ago at Mid Central Pest Control, working along side his father and siblings. In 2006, he struck out on his own and created Schopen Pest Solutions. The former sports broadcaster built a multi-million dollar company, employing 50 people in two states before selling to Rollins in 2023.  Shortly after selling, he started RV There Yet Pest Consulting, helping nearly 30 companies expand their businesses.  Schopen has multiple side projects, including podcasts with Pest Posse, business courses with Bug Buxx and sitting on the Purdue Urban Entomology Advisory Board. He has also been a monthly contributor in Pest Management Professional Magazine since 2006.  He has been happily married to Tami Schopen since 1991 and has two adult sons, Trey (25) and Caleb (20).
